Last existing gate in the town fortification built during the Staufer era (around 1230).

3. Heilig-Kreuz-Münster

Catholic parish church, originally late Romanesque basilica, refurbished in Gothic style in 15th/16th century.

4. Bockshof, Pulverturm and Lorenzkapelle

The free imperial town’s powder magazine and cemetery chapel, today a small park and masonry museum.

Tower with impressive collection of sculptures (1330-1340), church redesigned in baroque style.

Watchtower and prison, built with embossed stones within the Medieval town fortification (around 1230).
